The Women’s Finance Exchange
is an organization that is committed to the following mission:
- Create and develop a network for professional women with careers in the financial services industry or careers supporting financial services.
- Generate referral partnerships by networking with others in the organization.
- Provide programs that foster professional development and encourage social interaction among members.
- Give to our community by promoting and enhancing the welfare of all women.

Our History
The Women’s Finance Exchange, Inc., was founded in 1990 here in Atlanta so that women active in the financial industry would have a forum to discuss business issues and to build referral bases. The Dallas Chapter of WFE was formed in 1998.
Our Members
WFE Atlanta members include professional women with careers as attorneys, accountants, lenders, principals, investment bankers, recruiters, and agents involved in mergers, acquisitions, financings, workouts and other transactions. Members also include those with careers supporting and developing the professional interests of these women.
Our Events
WFE Atlanta plans and hosts multiple events each year from monthly luncheons with professional speakers to annual events that promote networking and the community.
Past notable speakers include Sarah Blakely, CEO & Founder, Spanx; Genevieve Bos, Founding Publisher, Pink Magazine; and Sheila Kahanek, former Accountant, Enron.
Our community efforts include our support of the Atlanta Women’s Foundation and Dress for Success.
